There is some exciting new happenings on Pleney this Summer!
The two beginners’ carpets at the summit of Pleney (Nabor and Viking) will be open to mountain biking, with a large beginners’ trail accessible from the top of the Viking carpet. This beginners’ area will be equipped with modules. It will open at the start of the school vacations on the 6th of July! In addition, an easy return itinerary (green trail type) will be set up from the summit of Pleney to Les Mouilles, with the aim of opening for the school vacations. Following modifications to the lower section 2 years ago, the “Les Gets-Morzine return” blue run will be refurbished from its start to Grand Prés.
Le Pleney is pre-opening on the weekends of the 31st May – 2nd of June and the 7th June – 9th June. It will then continuously open from the 14th June – 15th September. For the two pre-opening weekends, the Portes du Soleil public pass will be 10% off, as from Morzine, customers will only have access to the Morzine and Les Gets Bike Parks.
For those of you wanting to take advantage of “night riding,” there will be extended gondola opening times until 7pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the height of the season.
