The para ski world cup finals are coming to Morzine this week, and here is all the information about where to see it!

Para skiing, or sit skiing, is a discipline that allows skiers with paralysis of the legs to participate in skiing and enjoy the mountains. This year Morzine is hosting is hosting the finals of the world cup for para skiing and it offers visitors a unique chance to watch elite athletes compete at the highest level.

On Monday 18th at nine AM the teams in group one will begin training on the Hermine Piste. The teams from group 2 will begin training on the same p[iste at eleven AM.

On Tuesday 19th the qualifications will take place on the Stade De Pleney at three PM. The Finals will take place at five PM and the prize giving will take place at seven PM before a torchlit descent at seven thirty PM.

On the 20th and the 21st the Pleney lift will open at seven AM. Between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM the teams will have a chance to check the track before the slalom race begins. There will be two legs each day with different groups competing each day.

At 7:30 PM on the Thursday therew will be a concert following the price giving at the Palais Du Sport.
