Though we don’t want to think about the winter ending just yet, there are so many things to look forward to this summer, and with a short inter-season ahead of us, it’s not too far away! For Morzine Bike Park lovers, the lift opening dates are very important. So check the opening dates of the different mountain areas below.

If you are not into MTB, there is plenty to do in the summer in Morzine, with or without the assistance of the lifts, from hiking and mountain biking to go-karting all the way down (if you dare).

MORZINE / PLENEY BIKE PARK

The Pleney gondola will take you to the Morzine-Les Gets area where you can use the pedestrian paths if you’re on foot or mountain biking trails with a bike. Remember there are different passes for pedestrians and mountain bikers.

Here are the dates you can use the Pleney gondola and chairlifts in the Morzine/Les Gets area this summer.

AVORIAZ BIKE PARK

When you’re in Avoriaz, you can visit numerous resorts that are linked together, including Chatel, Lindarets, Champery, Champoussin, Torgons, Morgins and Les Crosets.

Summertime is also a great time to visit the restaurants at the top of Super Morzine. Following your trip on the Super Morzine lift either on foot and with a pedestrian pass, or by bike and with a bike pass you then have access to a wide variety of bars/ restaurants with glorious sunny decking areas. If you are a pedestrian and wish to visit Avoriaz for the day, there is a great lift-assisted hike that meanders through the trees and takes about 40 minutes.
